Grand Winner

NZ Life & Leisure Outstanding Producer of the Year

We’re hunting for New Zealand’s finest food producers. We want to celebrate Kiwis growing fine primary produce as well as those creating tasty value-added goods. Produce is judged across four categories, which are broken into two sections, with one winner being named NZ Life & Leisure Outstanding NZ Food Producer 2017.

The New Zealand Outstanding Food Producer will be selected from eight category winners. The categories are; Dairy, Earth, Paddock and Water. Each category has two winners, one for the best primary produce and the other for the best value-added product.

The NZ Life & Leisure Outstanding NZ Producer of the Year recognises the single producer who, in the opinion of the judges, creates a benchmark product of exceptional quality across all measures – it tastes and looks great, is innovative, has a point of difference, is produced using sustainable methods and has a great story
